The photo quality sucks, but this was my day yesterday and today, well technically anyways. Yesterday I got up at 8am and helped my team set up for relay for life. I left at 2:30pm went home and got dressed for my ROTC awards banquet at 5. I received two awards. A national Sojourners award and Outstanding cadet (which I have won two years consecutively). After the banquet I went home at about 11pm. I got dressed and went back to relay for life. I was there until about 8 in the morning. I was jogging and walking on and off, but I walked for 2 hours straight from 5:30 till 7:30am. I tried my hardest not to stop during relay for life(which was indoors due to incoming weather) because I believe it is a great cause. I was really disappointed in a lot of the cadets in my unit that walked for an hour when we got there at midnight and just stopped. I felt like it was important to keep going in honor of all those fighting against cancer. Anyways, it was a really great night and definitely memorable.
